Treatments
A thorough assessment will be carried out and a treatment plan will be discussed with you.
A typical treatment may include the following activities:
- Rehabilitation
- Mobilisations
- Massage
- Posture and gait correction
- Electrotherapy - Ultrasound treatment. TENS electrical stimulation for pain relief.
- Graded exercise programme
- Pain relief
During the treatment you will be shown an exercise programme to continue at home.
You will be advised on how best to relieve pain, improve movement and strengthen muscles.
Treatment duration
One appointment lasts 45 minutes (All insurers cover 45 minutes)
Longer appointments and home visits can be arranged.
